Funeral services for Mrs. Ethyl Goodwin, sister to a city man and a New Market woman were conducted Monday in Elwood. Burial was in an Elwood Cemetery. Mrs. Goodwin, who resided at Elwood, died Dec 23 in Mercy Hospital there. She was 76. Born Jan 8, 1891 she was a daughter of C.C. and Elizabeth Rush, She was married to George Goodwin who died several years ago. Surviving are 9 children, a brother, Walter Rush of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Steele of New Market; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. - kbz
